Ashridge Capital provides £1.4m of additional roll-out capital to Oakman Inns

Ashridge Capital has invested £1.4m of further growth capital in Oakman Inns & Restaurants, to fund the continued roll-out of new sites. Following Ashridge’s initial investment in August 2013, Oakman has expanded from 7 to 18 sites, has a strong pipeline of future sites and has entered into joint-ventures with Downing and with Enterprise Inns to source, develop and operates sites.

Oakman focuses on affluent South East towns which are less affected by recession and where demand for eating out is buoyant. The concept is proven in different types of sites, including a former coaching inn, pub, restaurant, post office, office and newsagents. Oakman is pursuing both leasehold and freehold venues.
