Ashridge Capital completes MBO of Fargro

Ashridge Capital is pleased to report the MBO of Fargro, the UK's largest and a pioneer in developing and selling bio-pesticide solutions and integrated pest/disease management and other specialist products to horticultural growers and amateur garders.

It was a pioneer in the use of macro-biologicals, the use of beneficial insects to control pests; bumblebees to pollinate crops; technical solutions for crop protection and plant health; and new digital technologies to aid growers, including digital remote-sensing and the application of data driven decision making to maximise crop health and minimise wastage.

Its consumer brand, The Garden Superstore (www.thegardensuperstore.co.uk), sells the same products online to the retail market, targeting amateur gardeners.
